For the new edition of CHART Art fair 2022 Helsinki Contemporary is pleased to participate with solo presentations by artists Emma Ainala and Ilari Hautamäki.
Ainala and Hautamäki are both painters, but with very different expression. While Ainala’s imaginative worlds are full of detail and they are abundant in symbolism, Hautamäki seeks to systemize and simplify. They are connected by their use of colour and their differences create an interesting juxtaposition of the figurative and the abstract.
