Jonna Kina's video installation “Secret Words and Related Stories” is on view at the group exhibition “Poetics of Encryption” at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen, 28 September 2024-12 January 2025.
Curated by Nadim Samman and shown earlier this year at KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, the group exhibition explores the world permeated by modern technology and considers how technology shapes cultural time-space.
"Secret Words and Related Stories" is based on a collection of anonymously collected passwords and the stories behind them. The piece examines the theme of personal ‘secrets’ and the role of data security in contemporary society.
